Olivia Weaver

Olivia is a young UK based content producer; she has spearheaded content ranging from a 30 second short film about a time-travelling witch to a piece about the most political pop songs of 2018 for NME. She has a passion for powerful storytelling and the written word, with an insatiable curiosity that has inspired her to travel around the globe and learn from the fascinating characters residing within local communities. Olivia’s background as a ‘military brat’ has developed her emotional intelligence, empathy, and cultural awareness – and made her want to write about other perspectives, alongside her own.

Alistair McGowan

Olivia’s uncle, Alistair is a corporate type turned genealogist who runs the Bespoke Genealogy website. Originally from London, he now lives in Canada, but returns to Britain whenever he cans for research and to visit family. He has a lifelong interest in the history and culture of the United Kingdom.
